1980 Foundation and commencement of courses with about 60 course participants in Heidelberg. After extending the range of courses and opening branch offices in Darmstadt, Eberstadt / Michelstadt, Wiesloch and Bensheim F+U counts 700 students by the end of the 1980s.
1986 Our first technical college, the College of Arbeitserziehung in Heidelberg, is founded, as well as nine further colleges.
1990 After the reunification of Germany and setting branch offices in Erfurt, Gotha, Mühlhausen, Bautzen, Chemnitz, the number of course participants increases to approximately 4000 per month.
1991 Our branch office in Alassio in Liguria / Italy is established. 1994 "Training concepts for small and middle-sized enterprises in Saxonia and Liguria" - this project within the FORCE programme initiates our participation in European educational projects.
1995 Vocational remedial schools acknowledged by the state are first opened in Neukirch and later in Chemnitz. Both remedial educational institutions now offer vocational training, vocational and boarding schools.
1996 The branch offices in Saxonia and Thuringia become independent subsidiary companies.
1997 The reorganisation of the state food control service in Lithuania is carried out by F+U in a three-year project within the PHARE programme.
1998 Establishment of F+U on Tenerife in Spain. F+U extends business within Germany to Ludwigshafen and Merseburg. So F+U is now represented in six German federal states.
1999 The F+U Enterprise Group is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
2001 Today we offer language courses in the following countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, England, Malta, Ireland, Argentina, Australia, Canada, the USA and Peru. |
