The language courses of the language school F+U Academy of Languages in Heidelberg:
Registration Fee: 20 € Includes: Placement test, Internet access, use of the library and modern learning media, arrangement of tandem groups/partners, Visa consultation, information about scholastic, academic and occupational continued-education in Germany, leisure activities, student IDs and certificates of participation. Leisure and cultural programs: A varied leisure and cultural program will be offered every week. Examples: a welcome party, a boat trip through the romantic Neckartal including a visit to the city with four castles Neckarsteinach, bicycle tours, hikes, trips to different companies, museums, zoological gardens and amusement parks, video nights, orientation walks through the historical city center (Altstadt) of Heidelberg, day-long trips to Speyer, Ladenburg, Schwetzingen, the Technical Museums in Heidelberg, Sinnsheim and Mannheim. Tickets and meals are not included in the course fee. Course material: Purchasing or borrowing (for a fee and with a deposit).

(hours that fall on holiday will be divided up among the remaining days in that week) Course guarantee: Courses with lower than the minimum participation can still take place with a reduction in instrucion hours, if desired
Language lessons: methods and teachers Learning a foreign language has never been so easy! You will get to use the new language from the very beginning. From the very first day you will notice your first progress! Through systematic language work our teachers teach vocabulary, grammar, and train the students in the skills of aural understanding, reading, writing and, above all, speaking. Our teachers are academically well-qualified.
Language courses in 8 different levels We comply with the EU parameters of assessment and UNICERT certificate levels (8). Elementary 1/2/3: the elementary level focuses on conversational language. It leads to basic skills The final acquired level (German courses) is equivalent to Zertifikat Deutsch (Certificate German) of the Goethe Institute. Intermediate 1/2/3: the intermediate level not only extends the knowledge of conversational language but also offers an introduction to specialised fields, for example science, technology, culture, civic matters. It provides adequate communication skills for university studies and career purposes. The final acquired level is equivalent to Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung (Central Examination Ordinary Level) of the Goethe Institute. Advanced 1/2: successful completion of the advanced level course enables participants to fully meet the language requirements for university studies or employment in Germany.
We teach German as a Foreign Language throughout the year in 8 different levels, in summer up to 14. We teach English, Spanish, French and Italian also in 8 different levels. Every level includes about 100 group instruction hours or 50 individual instruction hours.
